About

Exam preparation built by a neonatologist, for neonatology fellows

NeoFellow started as a way to share structured, exam-focused neonatology teaching. It has grown into three connected platforms for MCQ and OSCE preparation.

Dr Mohamed Mostafa Salama

NICU Consultant · Qassim University Medical City · Founder of NeoFellow

Dr Mohamed Salama is a Neonatal Intensive Care Consultant at Qassim University Medical City (QUMC) in Buraydah, Saudi Arabia, and part of the team establishing the hospital's new NICU. Before QUMC, Dr Salama was a NICU Consultant at King Salman Armed Forces Hospital.

Dr Salama completed the Saudi Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and knows the fellowship and its exit exam from the candidate's side. Further qualifications include the Saudi Board and Arab Board in Paediatrics and the MRCPCH.

NeoFellow began as a way to give fellows the preparation that is hard to find in textbooks: exam-style questions with clear explanations, and OSCE stations that run the way the real exam does. Dr Salama writes the content for all three platforms, drawing on daily work caring for premature and critically ill newborns.

Our approach

Learn how questions are asked and how answers are marked

Knowing neonatology is not the same as passing a neonatology exam. NeoFellow content is written with an exam mindset: what the question is testing, how the examiner will mark your answer, and how to structure a clear, safe response.

Content is organised into clear frameworks so you can answer with confidence in both written and clinical exams.
